Rinkeby suburb, Stockholm
Rinkeby is a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. It was build in the late 60s and 70s as part of the so-called Million Programme. Nevertheless, the area was inhabited long before: Rinkeby is believed to have been an important centre already at the end of Iron Age. Nowadays the suburb is best known for its large foreign population: about 90 per cent of its inhabitants are either first or second generation immigrants.
