Hyena
In principle, Hyena is half mine and half my sister's although she lives mostly with my sister Nina. Originally Hyena is a stray dog from Tenerife, Canary Islands. In the meantime Nina and Hyena have spent some time on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain. In June, 2006, they came to Finland and are currently staying here.
Hyena is probably at least partly berdino which is the original breed of the Canary Islands. However, she did not come with a pedigree so we apparently don't know her parents. Never mind, she's a good dog. Only sometimes she may bark to other dogs if they get on her nerves.
Hyena's exact age is not known, either. However, according to her official papers 10-year birthday will be on January 1st, 2006.
